Dear Santa,

I have an idea for you leave under the tree this year. There is a big hurricane/superstorm that just  hit the east coast. Lots of my friends are without power and are getting hit with snow alot earlier in the season than normal.  It makes me wish I could do something to help. The only thing I can do is help people prepare ahead of time.

Winter is coming!!!

One of my friends posted this today and it got me thinking about how nasty winter can be...

Cats.

I am not a cat owner (other than bunch of fish and a couple of African Dwarf Frogs that are in a 10 gallon tank, I dont do pets).

Cans of chicken/beef stock and Cream of Chicken Soup are always on the list for the grocery shopping because they are a staple in our house. We use chicken stock in everything--rice or in the crockpot, gravy,  thinning out cream soups etc.

Our trips to the store usually results in lots of cans of cream of chicken soup; chicken stock; among lots of other canned goods, especially if they are on sale.  The problem we run into is where to put the cans when we get them home.
